It was a blustery day when we faced Liverpool at home. Our opponents managed the trek across the treacherous M62. There were some nerves about how we would fair in the 60 mile an hour wind. For the first two quarters the sides were evenly matched and were managing to control the ball despite the wind. In the third quarter Liverpool dropped to 9 due to injury and then we matched to an 8 aside for the final quarter.

Final score of 8-7 to Leeds and some sore arms the next day from fighting the wind! It was a solid game and a great 16 player squad for Leeds. Shout out to our girl of the game Ellouise for her goalie saves and helping out the defence with plenty of chat.

Looking forward to Sheffield at home next week.
