Heaton Mersey 17-4 Leeds
Mersey started the scoring prompting Leeds to respond with 3 goals of their own. Mersey then pulled it back with another few goals in quick succession to make it level. Charlie Raymer and Jane Haynes made themselves known after that causing another flurry of goals up to half time-score was 11-3 at half time.
The second half stared mover positively for Leeds with another goal by Milly Pratt and new comer Emily Jones caused a few good turn overs in the midfield for Leeds.
Despite some hard work by the Leeds defence Heaton Mersey powered through with some impressive play by Fiona graham and Charlie Raymer. It was a very clean game and a great start to the season for both teams 🙂
